Mrs. Debbie Lietuvninkas
My name is Debbie Lietuvninkas, but almost everyone, no actually everyone refers to me as Mrs. "L". When my son Brian was entering Kindergarten, I visited Unquowa and fell in love with the school. I was a parent here first before I became a teacher in 1991. I taught Pre K-4 for thirteen years and then was offered the position of Librarian. At first I didn't know what to expect, but as I rearranged every single book in the library, I realized I could revisit some of my favorites and share them with the Unquowa students. My job is truly satisfying and rewarding. I meet with every student of the school and together we share our enthusiasm for books. We open the pages and go on different adventures every day.
